Subperiosteal Implant
A dental implant is a screw-shaped structure made of titanium that is surgically placed into the jawbone to replace missing or damaged teeth. Dental implants offer the closest results to natural teeth and are a long-lasting, safe solution.

How Are Subperiosteal Implants Applied?
Why Choose Dentasay
Assessment and Imaging
A detailed analysis of the jawbone is performed using 3D tomography. The bone structure is evaluated to determine if the patient is eligible for a subperiosteal implant.
Custom Framework Design
A titanium framework is custom-designed using digital impressions to precisely fit over the jawbone.
Surgical Placement
Under local anesthesia, the gum tissue is opened and the titanium framework is placed directly over the bone. The framework is fixed beneath the gum, and abutments are left exposed to support the prosthetic teeth.
Healing and Tooth Placement
Healing time is typically shorter than traditional implants. Once the tissues heal, fixed prosthetic teeth are attached to the abutments.

Subperiosteal Implant
What Is a Subperiosteal Implant?
A subperiosteal implant is a specialized type of dental implant designed for patients who lack sufficient jawbone volume. Unlike traditional implants that are screwed into the jawbone, a subperiosteal implant is a custom-made metal framework placed just beneath the gum but on top of the jawbone.
At Dentasay Oral and Dental Health Clinic, we provide subperiosteal implants as a fixed and natural-looking alternative for patients with advanced bone loss who are not suitable for traditional implants.
